BioE 310: Biological Systems Analysis

Regardless of the type of biological system, interaction or communication with them are done through biosignals. Biological systems analysis entails conservation balances of electrical, chemical, or mechanical energy. Mathematical models to describe these systems and algorithms to solve them are significant in engineering and science. This course will address the linear systems analysis in steady state and dynamically. In this course you will be introduced to the linear systems analysis, circuit analysis, dynamics of biological systems, frequency domain techniques and Laplace transforms. Understanding and practice of advanced numerical algorithms to solve systems problems will be emphasized in the class.
